Maŝinika Deliro is an opera fragment for cybernetic voices and electroacoustic sculptures by Marisol Jimenez created in collaboration with Nayeli Vega Vargas and the Phønix16 ensemble. The work reflects on gender as a mechanized social construct that is reinforced in our daily lives. The initial collaborative process began with six days during the first week of April 2022, where all the performers have taken part in an artistic research exploration. The resulting work of this initial research period was first presented in an opening rehearsal on April 8th at at Studioboerne45.
